I´m Rafa, partner and co-founder of Southern Shelter. I´m very happy to be in contact with you all.
As you know, we are creating this new tool for Southern Shelter, with the main goal of answering all the questions that you may have regarding moving to, or living in Uruguay.
You may think that you can find answers on Google or through one of the other expats Forums that exist. To that I say yes. You can find many answers. But, how do you know if there are the right answers? And, how much do I know about the person that is answering them?
What you will find in the Southern Shelter Forum are answers given by local experts, tested and recommended by the Southern Shelter team and by other foreign people like you that already went through the same situation that you are in at this moment.
Those professionals will do their best to answer all your questions, in the most professional and honest way, exposing themselves to the community and sharing openly their knowledge; always trying to solve your doubts, and hoping to create relationships of personal and professional trust that you may find valuable at some point.
If at any time, you need to ask or talk about something that needs more privacy, please feel free to ask for a one to one virtual meeting to discuss any specific topic that you may consider appropriate.
